Vampire Halloween

Happy Thursday everyone! Today is Halloween so I had to make a card featuring some darker colors of flowers from I Am Roses. I paired them with this digi from Krista Smith (formerly Saturated Canary) called Vampire Halloween. I colored her up a few days ago and finally got her on a card.

Copics:
Skin: C0, C1, C2, C3, E000
Hair: C2, C8, Black
Red: R27, R29, R37, R39
Black Roses: C3, C5, C8, C10
Leaves: BG96, BG99
Black  Background: C6, C8, C10

I found some Halloween paper in my stash that was cream with black trees and crows. I really wanted some red paper. So I pulled out my Copics, R27 and R39, and colored it. I used several I Am Roses flowers to frame the image. I colored the leaves darker using BG99.

Happy Halloween! ATС series "Gothic night" from Julia MITRA.

Hello, friends!
Want something scary and Gothic? So, I'm, Julia, ready to give it to you!)
Today is Halloween and I have prepared for you one very creative and atmospheric inspiration - a series of mixed-media ATС called "Gothic night".

I especially like pumpkins this year, so I decided to make another pumpkin project, only now in a more gloomy, but cute version))

I love to create a multi-layer, it was interesting to consider the details and find more and more beautiful things.

Of course, in this project I used our amazing flowers - this time mainly roses:

The roses were carefully placed in the composition to harmonize not only with the idea, but also the embodiment of the Gothic night in the cemetery.

As you can see, I decided to make an unusual shape for cards and cut out of cardboard different shapes - in the form of tombstones.

To create a textured background on the basis of cardboard, I applied a texture paste through the stencil "Damascus".

Then I dried it and applied a primer - black gesso.

Then I decided to do a layering and added a little gauze and sisal, then applied to the cards sprays.

Then I started creating layers. They turned out to be very detailed and even a little scary))

I mainly used a chipboard for the project, and also added some paper scraps.
A round elements - it's acrylic drops and glass stones.

Also in the layers I used die-cuts (ScrapMan) and decorated the cards with plaster crowns (which I also primed with black gesso).

The main scary characters - pumpkins - I painted in several stages with the help of Rustic paints, then a little metallic paint, and then again a little Rustic. So pumpkins in color turned out very textured and interesting.

Then I sprayed the cards again, dried them, and added topping - black pebbles.
The black pebbles look very much like gravel, as you might notice in a graveyard. Very atmospheric!

After I painted the background with a dry brush and on the details a little with the help of metallic paints (Bronze, Golden cinnamon, Black pearl) - all from Fabrika Decoru.
And the final touch - I sprinkled the project with black dots.

Are you scared?))

Thanks for watching!
And have a little fun on the Halloween!))

Pumpkin mood in "Funny&Creepy" cards from Julia MITRA.

Boo!
It's Julia here with a bit of creepy and funny inspiration))
In our country, people don't celebrate Halloween, and therefore we have no special reason to create a little scary, but also beautiful projects as a gift.
But I think that you can always find a way out of a difficult situation and use the attributes of this holiday with an autumn theme.
So I created a couple of bright cards with very smiling and a little scary pumpkins.

In my project I used beautiful flowers:

For these cards, I specially made a watercolor background with sprays and added a texture paste through a "knitted" stencil.

I also added a text background stamping to the base.

I love to create with bright colors, so this project was very positive and cool for me!

For decor, I used a background chipboard, paper tishyu, cutting, leaf stamping, twain and cool pumpkin chipboard.

Pumpkins painted first with acrylic paint, and then I added dry Magic paint (Fabrika Decoru).

I added some sequins for a festive sparkle.

And the final touch is a spray of black liquid dots.
Happy Halloween!

Don't forget to add your adorable flower projects to our October IAR Challenge!

Round mixed-media ATC "Fall through the water" from Julia MITRA.

Hello there!
It's Julia here and my autumn mood!
For me, autumn colors are not only leaf fall and crimson, but also a charming splash of cold water, the crackle of twigs and the aroma of withering and slightly tart freshness.
All these emotions I wanted to show in my mixed-media ATC series.

As a basis, I took the shape of a circle, which was cut out of binding cardboard. Then I primed the base, covering it with gauze.

Next, I added a texture paste through the stencil and sprinkled with sprays and magic paints.

Also on the basis of I added background stamping, as well as some details in the project.

In addition to sprays, I actively used acrylic paints from Fabrica Decoru for the base and details.

ATC series turned out to be bright and atmospheric, with many details and layers.

In layers you can notice cotton mesh lace, chipboard, corrugated board, die-cuts, stamped leaves, round glass (large) and acrylic drops, toppings.

And for decoration I used our beautiful flowers, of course!

There are such wonderful flowers in this project:

I really liked to play with color and alternate textures and paints, but even more I like the details - leaves, for example, or chipboard feathers... And even droplets!

In my project I used magic paints and magic paints with effect: Cobat Blue, Orange, Olive, Siena Natural, Golden Heavens, Chocolate with bronze, Golden sand.

In addition to dry magic paint, I used acrylic Rustic Paint and Shabby Velour, as well as metallic paints - Bronze and Bounty.

Rustic Paints is Dark turquoise, Concrete and Iron oxide.
Shabby velour is Olive color.
All paints from Fabrika Decoru.

That's such a bright and outstanding series of round ATC I got!
I hope you enjoyed them))

See you in our future October IAR Challenge in the next time!
Bye-Bye!
With ♥, Julia)
