You Mean The World To Me!

Happy Thursday everyone! Can you believe we are at the end of April already?! I know for some the time is dragging, but I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I feel like it's flying by! It's my turn to post for I Am Roses today, and I decided to do a different color scheme than usual. My hubby LOVES blue so I decided to make this card for him using blue and green. There is no special occasion. I just wanted to give him a card to thank him for being the best hubby ever!

This adorable image from Love Cynthia is called HEART WORLD, and it's a FREEBIE!  I had these gorgeous blue sprays and flowers from I Am Roses and they fit the card perfectly! They really add a dramatic statement to any project! I used R43 white rose, blue cherry blossoms, small white and blue flowers, and tiny leaves. That blue spray though is my fave!

 

I recently received a goodie box from Xyron which included the Mega Runner, X150 Sticker Maker, along with refills. This Xyron Bundle is an awesome deal, and....the items are sparkly blue! I LOVE them! The adhesive on the Mega Runner is AMAZING and really sticky! I used it to put all my card layers together.

Sending a Little Sunshine Your Way

And today I have an adorable card that is sure to brighten someone's day!

With all that is happening in the world right now, I figured sending out some handmade cheer to friends would help lift their spirits.

I love this color combo of yellows and grays. Gray on its own, seems dark and gloomy. But since it is on the cool color spectrum it has the ability to brighten as well. 

I stuck with the Yellow and gray color theme throughout...

And these Medium Daisy Flowers already come pre-assorted in a few spring colors that work very well together. And what do you know, a bundle of gray is thrown into this mix...

I Am Roses' Daisies continue to be a favorite of mine and go perfectly with these wonderfully dimensional Spring Cottage Flowers.

I arranged the flowers to resemble a wreath around the framed circle and then tucked bundled stamens under them to act as a filler instead of adding leaves.

I really love how cheery this card turned out! 

I hope this card will bring sunshine to someone's day! But until then, I hope it brought sunshine to yours!!

Good morning everyone! Happy April! We at I Am Roses would like to give a BIG WARM WELCOME to our newest addition to the IAR Design Team. You may recognize her, as she has been a Winner and Top 3 in our monthly challenges. Her work is amazing and breathtaking.

Hello!

My name is Aleksandra. I live in a cottage house surrounded by pine trees in a small village in Poland. Scrapbooking is the hobby of my life since we have first met. It last over 7 years now. I love paper itself and working with it by creating cards, layouts and mixed media projects. I used to create to sell but since my first daughter was born I create for myself mainly and this brings me even more fun!  (I can’t wait when we will be making art together with children <3).

This year is very intense for me, because since January I have two little sweet babies on board and a lot of work with them. However, I feel so happy and I really appreciate I was invited to join the Design Team of IAR. I will do my best to inspire you with these lovely flowers!
