Happy New Year, friends!!
Its
Julia here and I want to start this new creative year with a big winter project called "Winter morning in Village".
Let's be inspired by the wonderful moments of New Year's morning together!
I was very inspired by the views of the winter village, snow and frost fir trees and motifs from Russian fairy tales. In our culture, the main New Year's characters are "Ded Moroz" and his granddaughter "Snegourochka". On New Year's Eve, they go to villages and cities, "cover" forests and fields with snow, and then go into houses and leave gifts under the Christmas tree while people sleep.
As a basis for the project, I took corrugated cardboard, from which I cut out a large "christmas" star - its diameter is up to 30 cm.
If you don't pay attention to the stand for the star, my project is like a winter lay-out))
For the decoration of the star, I used a lot of cutting (Lady Bug, Sizzix by Tim holtz, Molly Craft), chipboard, berries, cotton lace, wool decor, woven raffia, die-cuts and, of course, flowers. Lots of flowers!
In this project you can find a lots of wonderful IAR flowers:
Other flowers is handmade; I made white poinsettias with blue and gold glitter out of foam.
The basis of this decor I covered with sprays and paints a little, added primer and paste with sand.
I made the die-cuts from white and kraft cardboard, as well as from thick white and blue vellum.
Beautiful houses-huts are painted with sprays and metallic paint, "Copper" the color.
Cute sign with the inscription - Happy New Year!
I liked to create such a large and detailed composition, which has a beautiful winter story.
Thanks for watching!
And have a good holidays!))
With love, Julia)
